Clarence Swim Club is seeking part-time assistant coaches to work with swimmers between the ages of 8-18. We are a proud member of USA Swimming and train year round at the 8-lane Clarence High School pool. Successful applicants should have a minimum of 3 years competitive swimming experience. Red Cross training in CPR and Lifeguarding are required. Collegiate swimming experience, prior coaching experience, and/or ASCA membership is a plus. Pay is commensuarte with experience. Victor Swim Club is currently seeking to fill two coaching positions. The first position is for an Age Group Coach to work with Age Groupers who are transitioning to a Senior Level Group. This position requires the applicant to work closely with the Senior Head Coach, Head Coach and parents. The candidate will need to develop a season training/competition plan and will be expected to handle the meet entries of their group. This position will require approximately 10 hours per week at practice plus meet duty on the weekends that this group attends meets. This candidate must hold Lifeguarding/CPR certifications and USA Swimming Certification. The second position is for an Assistant Swim Coach to work with swimmers ages 8-12. This candidate should be energetic and hardworking. Must be able to work well with the Head Coach, Head Age Group Coach and parents. This is a part time position with about 6-8 hours per week available, with the possibility of coaching meets on the weekends. Head Coach Opening The Pal-Mac Swim Club which swims at the Palmyra-Macedon High School, approximately 15 minutes east of Fairport, is currently accepting applications for the position of head coach effective August 1, 2010 beginning with administrative duties. We are looking for a dynamic head coach to grow our program works with swimmers ages 6 – 18 who are at many different skill levels. The head coach will 1) Develop a competitive season plan, which includes structuring practices, setting goals and evaluating individual swimmers and the group; 2) Coaching during practice and mentoring other coaches to further develop their coaching skills; 3) Manage administrative duties such as meet entries, USA Swim registration, attend board meetings, hold coaches meetings, and making a season calendar; 4) Build relationships with parents and educate them on various topics helpful to their swimmer through strong interpersonal and communication skills. Currently this position would be for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6 pm to 7:30 pm and swim meets on the weekends with plans to expand the program in the future. A qualified candidate should possess a minimum of three years coaching experience with various age groups, competitive swimming experience, current USA Swim coaching certification, CPR for Professionals, Advanced Lifesaving, and First Aid. | Falcon Aquatics Swim Club is currently seeking a part time assistant head coach. We are located at Niagara Wheatfield High School. The normal hours would be Monday thru Thursday from 6pm to 8pm with some variations. We also run a learn to swim class on Saturdays. We would require a minimum of two years coaching experience. Up to date USA Swim Coaching certification is required along with all American Red Cross life saving and CPR certification’s. Falcon Aquatics is a parent run club. Job Description: The UB Amherst Swim Club, a partner club of STAR Swimming, is seeking a qualified candidate who can fill a Head Age Group Coach position. Responsibilities for this position include: 1.) Coaching swimmers of all ages and skill sets - primarily 14 & under swimmers – directly leading 4 practice groups; candidate needs to develop appropriate season plan, goal setting and evaluation for the individual swimmer and the group; 2) Supervising on deck coaching of all swim groups and overseeing and assisting other coaches; 3) Managing administrative duties such as meet entries, writing newsletters, being involved with committees, building relationships with parents and educating them on various topics, attending staff meetings; 4) Assisting the Head Coach in various coaching and administrative duties. Job Qualifications: Ideal candidate should have strong coaching experience with all age groups, superb organizational and administrative strengths with solid computer skills including Hy-Tek, preferably 3+ years of USA swimming coaching experience, ASCA certification is a plus.
